Conditioning for chaos (part 2)

In part 1 of this series, we looked at ‘conditioning for chaos’ as your questioning your body (daily if you can) as to what it has or needs to weather any storm.

Conditioning for chaos is necessarily different for everyone; it looks different on everyone!

  • My 85yo (also self proclaimed elite octogenarian and my hero) loves to try new ‘games’ like soccer and juggling

  • My 46yo client is determined to set the strength baseline for his son

  • My 9yo son wants a dollar a chin up!

  • My hub loves anything surf or skate and tried foil boarding and got up first time (of course cos it’s ingrained!).

  • For me it’s pushing the boundaries of my balance that was taken from me thru brain tumor.

Each time I see someone lifting to the occasion I feel proud! There’s this ‘aliveness’ we all spark when we try just that little bit extra, and I think that’s the secret to working out how best you condition for chaos.

While what you uniquely need is uniquely up to you, next post we’ll look at guidelines we can all consider :)
