Enthusiasm Checklist

There’s no denying that it’s good to feel good and so when I’ve felt peak enthusiasm in my life recently I’ve written down the contributing feels and voila, magic checklist here we come when I’m struggling with momentum!

Have a check thru each and see if any can help you out of a momentum slump?

  1. Are your comrades rad?

Where possible surround yourself with people who are excited about life - it’s fuel.

You can’t go it alone. Collaborate a lot. Leaning on others can strengthen our own capabilities and amplify our achievements.

2. Are you mixing it up?

If you always do what you’ve always done you’ll always get what you’ve always had and diversity is the spice of life and … Inspiration is liquified gold and go with that as much as you can!

3. Is my scale hunky dory?

Not the one you step on, the one that holds your values. There’s no such thing as multitasking three or four things, that’s only doing those things with a third or quarter effort! Go whole hearted full throttle on the things you love as much as the things you have to.

4. Are my devices positively charged?

Your space is precious, even the one in the digital realm. Filter out the negativity on your phone

  • Is it helping you?

  • Is it inspiring you?

  • Is it making you better?

  • Is it pushing you to new limits?

  • No? Then you don’t need to see it

5. Am I learning?

Your brain is arguably the most important muscle we’ve got. Don’t get lazy with it. The more you use it, the stronger it gets. We don’t even know how to do the common anymore because our device has made everything so readily available.

  • Do stuff with your hands. Make bread, craft, draw, write by hand

  • Can you navigate to a place without your phone?

  • Grow your own vege even if just sprouting seeds on a windowsill. Nature’ is real magic!

6. Am I being proactive with my health?

You may be existing but are you living? Take actions that amplify your time here as much as you can - starting with your health.

7. Am I giving my 100 percent?

If you’re gonna do it, do it to be the best. Not compared to other people, but the best for you. How you do anything is how you do everything and especially when it comes to you.

8. Am I going for it or with it?

What’s your reason not to go after everything that you possibly can? What’s really exciting you at the moment? Live life on purpose!

9. Am I ready for it or floundering?

You have to be who you are, you have to be the best at what you are. And you have to be ready! Be ready so when the opportunity does arise at least you’re ready for it and not floundering

10. Is my environment working for me?

Being fitbynature, I’m a strong believer that environment matters. Of course you can use your resilience to make do with any environment you’re met with, but why wouldn’t you create one that works to your advantage where you can? If your goal is to eat healthy, don’t stock your shelves with junk. If your goal is to work out, create a desirable environment to work it out in or workout no matter your environment and see what you can create!

Optimise your enthusiasm environment so that is helps you to achieve your goals rather than making it more difficult by containing all the shit you are trying to resist.
