Red Velvet Brownies

  • 1 cup cooked beets

    1/2 cup almond butter

    1/4 cup cassava flour

    1 egg

    1/2 cup water (or broth)

    1 tsp vanilla extract

    1/4 cup cacao

    3 tbsp maple or honey

    Pinch salt

    1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  • Mix all wet ingredients. Stir well.

    Add all dry ingredients. Stir all to combine. Add choc chips.

    Pour batter into a 20x20cm pan and bake at 350° /180 c for 25-30 minutes. Store in fridge for up to a week
