It starts with moving
Setbacks are success in disguise
“You’re the storyteller of your own experiences”. Hohum, how many times have I heard that? But if social media has taught me anything it’s that the way you write your authentic stories each post is how your audience feels - but most importantly of all, how you feel about yourself.
It starts with breakfast
Do you drink coffee or tea to perk yourself up? Oh wait doesn’t everybody! Ok, does your energy vary a lot over the course of a day? Do you tend to crash mid-morning or mid-afternoon? Do you regularly wake up in the middle of the night? Do you feel shaky, irritable or anxious if you go too long without eating? These are signs of unstable blood-sugar levels, which have an enormous impact on health and well-being.
Where do the adults play?
The best thing about holidays is that exercising cannot become a chore because you’re moving around all the time - like you kid, with your kid - just by having fun.
What would happen to our bodies if play as adults became the norm? What if we could move every day and love it and not see it as punishment or work.
It’s time to shift our mindset and remember what it was to be a kids, to really live in our bodies, to feel, to play, to explore.
WHAT’S THE NUMBER ONE THING YOU CAN DO TO IMPROVE YOUR STRENGTH?
In order to strengthen the whole chain, you just find the weak link—once you resolve that, the whole chain became stronger and you move to the next weak link.
Facilitate don’t force
We tie ourselves in knots
Adjust your eating rhythm
What if by doing something as small as adjusting your mealtimes, you could re-set your body clock and improve your health?
Move first, then move often. In that order
Put your body through the basics, the foundations for movement, and work your way up. It’s faster than you think; and you’ll be stronger than you ever imagined possible. Same you, just the best version.
WHY ARE WE DRAWN TO FOODS THAT HARM US?
Unfortunately, most of the things we love are often convenient – processed, packaged, throw together meals. The downfall with these meals is that the biggest portions are bread, pasta or rice. Let’s stop there for a moment. When did foods stop being about enjoyment and start being quick, filling meals just to get the job done?
