Snackitis

Replacing our blood sugar responses during a Sugar Intervention, we often realise how many things affect it!

We can also make some pretty cool treats to ‘tide us over’ as we get better at ratios of macronutrients in meals and don’t actually need snacks between anymore! But often our best intentions see these treats getting into our daily go tos just like we were trying to oust before we started. And sure, unprocessed food is way better but sugar is still sugar and the hits add up no matter what.

We’re made to enjoy food, we’re made to seek sweet as rewards and not allowing ourselves to have them can feel like that deprivation theme that goes with dieting! But unprocessed will squats be better and now and again will be better again. There’s always a continuum for health and for healthy choices.
