Banana Nut Porridge

  • 1/2 cup soaked macadamia

    3/4 cup boiling water

    2 tbsp coconut butter

    1 egg, beaten

    1/2 banana

    1 medjool date

    2 tsp maple syrup

    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    1/8 tsp sea salt to taste

  • Drain and rinse macadamias (overnight soak for best results)

    In a blender, place all the ingredients except egg and blend until smooth and creamy.

    Place mixture into a small saucepan over medium low heat. Stir in egg.

    Heat gently until thick and creamy. Serve.
