I eat good because you can't put a price on a clear mind

(Eating good food, outdoors, in the sunshine, with family is superpowered!)

There’s no mistake that eating and emotions go hand in hand. There’s obviously the eat to survive primal kinda feels first but, especially in modern times, how we feel determines how we eat. I’d also like to add that how you eat also determines how you feel. And move!

I eat good because you can't put a price on a clear mind. One good idea might change your life, right? And it’s good to feel good!

It's not even difficult to stick to a diet when what you eat makes you feel amazing. It's intuitive. Your body knows. You feel good. You can't get enough, until you do, and you just know when to stop. Real food is love; real food is nourishment.

Health for me is simply showing up for myself each day, like putting on my oxygen before everyone else, to make sure I got the necessary backup in place to respond when needed. And taking time for me starts with being able to eat the least amount of food I can AND still build and maintain muscle mass, have all the energy I want, never get sick, and most importantly not be hungry. I’ve got better things to do than be a slave to the fridge. With so much going on around me, I don’t have time for all these inner conversations like thinking “I feel hungry but I’m gonna fight thru it”, or craving, sacrificing, feeling guilt or shame around food. That’s not my life. Let’s face it, what I’m looking forward to eating is 3d printing my future body and that’s worth it!

So we eat good to think clearer. There’s no denying the link between the brain and the second brain, your gut. Brain fog is inflammation from your gut is not a big link to make and clear thinking the opposite. So making good choices around food feels a pretty good place to start with health.

But exercise also creates energy. When you move your body, your brain triggers the release of adrenaline, which kicks off a chain reaction that boosts alertness and focus. Yes, you also made that adrenaline thru the food you ate: the quality, the timeliness, the amount! If you're low on energy, the best remedy might just be to get moving too.

Use your body to change your mind.

Work your heart to change your feelings.

Eat for a clear mind

(Think well to make good choices to do all of the above!)

So let’s enjoy thriving in what it means to be a human, in this fairly hectic world we’ve created for ourselves in the best ways we can control.
