I often recommend ACV but people can screw up their faces at the mere thought of it, let alone the actual face they pull when they drink it! So here’s four ways (ok and then four more) to get your ACV:

  1. straight up – 1 tsp (to 1 tbsp)
  2. diluted in a glass of water with a squeeze of lemon – 1 tsp (to 1 tbsp)
  3. salad dressing for the fridge – 1 tbsp acv, 1 tsp dijon mustard, 1/2 tsp honey, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper taste. Keep no more than a week or two – make yourself fresh and delcious new stuff
  4. bernaise sauce for your eggs – 1 tbsp acv, 3 tbsp butter, 1 egg yolk, 1/2 tsp dijon, sprinkle tarragon, salt and pepper to taste

And another four cos I couldn’t help myself:

  1. start each meal with a small salad with 1 tsp Acv, 1 tsp olive, lemon juice, salt and pepper
  2. add instant kim chi as a side to any asian inspired meal – 1/2 head cabbage, 1 tbsp garlic, 1/2 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tsp – 1tbsp (to taste)  acv, 1/2 cup scallions, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tbsp chilli flakes, 1/2 asian pear
  3. carrot and ginger almost sauerkraut – grate two carrots and 2 inches ginger, 1 tbsp acv, dash sesame oil
  4. Mexican slaw (great with carnitas) – 1/4 cabbage, 1/2 red onion, 2 tbsp acv, 1tbsp olive oil handful coriander (bash it to release the juices), 1 fresh chilli, 1/2 tsp salt, pepper
